Destin 2008....

The Lord graciously gave us the opportunity to enjoy some family vacation time last week in Destin, Fla.

Meet the Family pt.1 Julie and Sammy......and Will's new skill

Julie's loves her dog "Sammy".......he's been with us now for 9 years. It's amazing he is still alive, .......seriously..........aside from the fact that when we got him he pooped in the house in too many places to mention and so was on my hit list early on......... (having received numerous spankings and punishments......all of which at this point may have actually worked and we kinda have a pretty good relationship now.)............he's also been hit by at least two cars and survived ....even spending the night in doggy ICU so to speak..!!!! His time outside now is on a leash and Julie and Will spend time with him playing in the backyard........

Will's new skill is riding his sisters RAZOR. Julie does not ride it much any more....kinda outgrown it I guess......but Will found it in the garage and all by himself figured it out......he calls it his "gooter"(scooter)........and for a little guy, he's pretty good.......no serious accidents yet..... thank the Lord..!!!

---That being the case, up to 97% of those who have EVER lived NEVER experienced: Television, Telephones, Cell phones, Computers, Electricity (lightbulb technology)....etc ...all these things being a mere 150 years old or less.

What an amazing time we have been living in by the providence of God.

.........uh oh....Spaghetti O's

Had to capture this moment Wednesday night. After a day with Cathy at the oral surgeon we decided "soup" would make up the evening dinner menu. Obviously, Will had spaghetti O's. Every one had finished dinner and Will had eaten to our satisfaction but indicated he wanted "more". Well, we gave him more, gave him his spoon (which he is very good at using properly) and left him to himself to finish up. Five minutes or so pass and I pass by and check on him and to my surprise, he was no longer using his spoon but had resorted back to his hands..........and well the result was.............looks like William doing a Braveheart impersonation..!!
